When coming up with the Production Company name for our project, we looked into what current horror Production Company names there were. We found company's such as 'Twisted Pictures' and 'Ghost House Pictures' and decided to create a name which went with the idea ensuring that the name had some connection with the horror genre. Our group decided on 'Distorted Studios' as the word 'distorted' connotes ideas of misinterpretation and confusion. To finalise our chosen Production Company name, we made sure that it doesn't currently exist.
Once we had seen that our idea was available, we finalised on
'Distorted Studios' for our Production Company Name.
After this decision, we looked into what our Company Logo could be for the beginning of our horror trailer.
A video which featured someone using one light circling around a person's head influenced us for the logo as it created a very distorted and psychedelic image which gave a clear link to the name of our Production Company.
